Thx to RB korbet for her wonderful comments ..what is real is the fact that the whole neighborhood had a punk attitude and we must keep in mind that it was a different century. If I was intimidating that's my response to a hostile VILE lower east side. They were violent. Which you do mention ( holligans ) and slam dancing at A7 and many were fake rejects on drugs and alcohol , showing up to disrupt the shows and most were rich kids acting poor from outside NY

MF threw it back and got caught up in that until we wised up and dropped off the club circuit ( and we were not about entertainment) so we started playing Europe in 1989

In 1990 I signed a record deal with Restless Records in LA and after two more tours of europe in 91 and 92 I decided to move to Berlin (93) a place that respected missing foundation and noone pulled the plug .

As Chris Egan put it " I left that loser world behind "....I still hate COPY rock'n'roll and I stand by industrial experimental music .

My short music experience with RB korbet was fun times ..good memories

Our new MF album " Nations in Transit " out soon on Humanity Records 2024 ..fuck the critics and hope you all reach your dreams

Thank you so much for that information, Peter! I would love to interview you some time as well, if you’d be open to it.

thanks for the interview & insights on flow of history & music during 1980s' shift away from late 70s bands' flimsy record deals, squatting & shooting up in Alphabet City, to new attitude & creativity in music. loved Bad Brains, still play 999
